National Library New Zealand

The material in The National Library of New Zealand is organised into two main collections: The general collections and The Alexander Turnbull Library collections. The general collections include books, magazines, music resources, government publications and family history material. The Alexander Turnbull Library holds New Zealand's documentary research collections. These collections contain original material such as photos, drawings, prints, maps, oral histories, printed ephemera, manuscripts, archives, and printed material - newspapers, books and magazines - relating to New Zealand and the Pacific. They also contain the largest collection of early printed books in New Zealand - including early voyages, works relating to John Milton and the 17th century - and examples of fine printing from around the world.
