The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, Bologna Center, is a full-time graduate school that offers a graduate level international relations program in Europe under the American system. The Johns Hopkins University Bologna Center Library is a direct descendant of the first American library founded in Bologna in 1949. The library specializes in international economics, international relations, European history and politics, contemporary history, international law and political science. There are strong holdings on the foreign relations of the United States, the Atlantic Alliance and European integration, and an extensive collection of English-language materials on Italian government and politics. The library subscribes to 1,000+ periodical and serials titles and has over 75,000 volumes. |
